Which engine converts Excel workbooks?
Modern XLSX, XLSM, XLSB and ODS workbooks are sent to Cloudflare toMarkdown. Legacy XLS files are processed on our server with Firecrawl AnyDoc. Review the returned cell values and worksheet order against the source.
Will formulas be preserved?
Formulas are not preserved or recalculated. Stored or cached values may appear, but formulas without cached results can be blank or omitted. Check the result against the workbook.
Can Markdown represent merged cells?
Standard Markdown tables do not support merged cells, so complex layouts may be flattened.
Where can I use the result?
Markdown tables work well in GitHub, many wikis, static-site generators, and documentation tools.
